While the health guarantee has specific timelines, our commitment to you and your puppy lasts a lifetime. We are always here to provide guidance, resources, and a return-to-breeder option if circumstances ever change. No Dinork Malamute will ever be abandoned, surrendered, or left without a safety net.
Our Health Guarantee
At Dinork Kennels, we believe in raising Alaskan Malamutes with health and longevity in mind. That’s why every puppy comes with:

26 months coverage for hip and elbow dysplasia (with OFA certification required)

24 months coverage for hereditary eye disease (annual OFA/CAER exams)

10 days coverage for contagious illness after going home
If a covered condition is diagnosed and confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, families may choose between:

A replacement puppy of equal value (when available), or

A refund of the purchase price
Orthopedic and Physical Health Evaluations
In addition to genetic screening, our adult dogs undergo OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) hip and elbow evaluations to screen for joint health issues like hip dysplasia—an important factor for large, working breeds like the Alaskan Malamute. We also conduct annual eye exams certified by veterinary ophthalmologists.
Thorough Vet Checks for Every Puppy
Before any puppy leaves our home, they are examined by a licensed veterinarian. This comprehensive check includes evaluation for heart murmurs, hernias, bite alignment, and overall physical wellness. All puppies are dewormed on a schedule and receive their first core vaccines prior to going home.
